Slide show of yours truly taking the pics or being taken...I ended a little over the one minute budget, but the concept of condensing a ten year span into a New York minute was the objective. These were originally taken with a Canon ML which are available on ebay for $9.99, a Minolta 5000 with Sigma lens (sucked), and a disposal kodak for the corporate party scenes which was amazing similar quality to the other cameras. To digitize these pictures I took them using my Panasonic DMC-FZ28 which is what I have been using for all the HD vids. I messed with them a bit in Photoshop.

Stop the video after a few seconds if you don't like it because it is basically the same thing over and over.

But the important thing is that Adobe Premiere Elements beat detect is useless. The solution to getting a beat synced slide show in Premiere Elements is to start insert a click track or drum track, or for more complicated changes other instrument tracks. Then tap the asterisk button on keyboard to the appropriate rhythm and it will create markers. This will get it close but it will require fine tuning. The markers then need to be moved to align with the visual of the drum file. Even with the detail maxed out, it is not totally accurate, but it is close. With the markers in place, it is easy to line up the pictures. Not sure how the timing of the slide changes will translate once converted by You Tube, but they were in sync in the final product. I probably should have just tied it to the quarter notes instead of trying to the notes in between and the fills.

To do a group automatically simply control click all the pics and drag to the scene line and release them. They will line up with the markers.

These particular pics include scenes from Steamboat Springs, Seattle, Hood River, Lake Tahoe, Devil's Den, CT, Compo Beach, Chelsea, Central Park, Long Island Sound, and a couple corporate headquarters both bought out by European companies.
