actually to be honest, you don't ever need to train in this game at all...not until the bonus dungeon which is after you beat the game. but some monsters are difficult like the inferior eye. each cave of oblivion has random level monsters and random chests. so you could be stuck with a cave of oblivion thats too hard, when im faced against that...i just flee from the battle and find the chests.
