  • another is to extend the red line from plano to allen and a line to frisco.

  • @barrettreynolds5 Arlington, Allen and Frisco are not participating members of DART. There are some regional discussions about transit outside of our service area, but a rail line to Arlington and a DART Rail Red Line extension is presently not part of our plans.

  • @Jimmac789 , I've been running across this same thing for years, except the other way around!

  • @barrettreynolds5 , check out NCTCOG.org. A vast wealth of information there regarding your thoughts. e.g. S. Irving to Frisco CRT line. The CRT line from SW Fort Worth to DFWIA to Collin County (MCK/Allen maybe). And, the UP line (CRT) through Arlington that continues to be a fight to gain access to for passenger rail. There's a lot of potential, but, the future will require a massive PPP and regional transit agency cooperation. A lot more local $ and a bit less reliance on FTA grants.

  • First, that video made me smile. I love those pre-game moments. Of course, the crush after the game is tough logistics management vice the softer leisure arrival. Next, the issues of greater regional mobility.

  • @DARTDallas I came across this when I was looking for the DART in Dublin Ireland.

  • Hey. I have an idea for DFW and a feuture rail line. A rail line that goes to Arlington and it will be the first city that does not have public transit be served by DART. I also think it should serve several destinations with limited parking like Downtown Arlington, Rangers Ballpark, Cowboys Stadium, a line to go to Six flags, hurricane harbor, and mostly places with limited parking. This is an idea that is great for people who want to save car gas bills. Arlington is the next stop DART.
