My Gulf: Grand Isle, Louisiana - Shrimping by Moonlight

Terry Vegas has lived in Grand Isle, Louisiana for 50 years and has been a shrimper for 47 of those. He says there's no place else and no other way he wants to live; it's his version of paradise. As the moon rises over the Gulf each evening, he sets out aboard his boat, the "Miss Andrea", to catch sweet, delectable shrimp. This is a man of determination, one who doesn't ever give up. And this is the story of his Gulf.

I lived on Grand Isle 25 years ago. Joe and Kate owned the Matilda Lynn . I enjoyed going out to the Camanada Pass shrimping with them ..Pulling in the nets were the high light . I also went out with Babin .. Miss it very much
