The Mamas & The Papas - California Dreaming

The Mamas & the Papas (credited as The Mama's and the Papa's on the debut album cover) were a vocal group of the 1960s. The group recorded and performed from 1965 to 1968 with a short reunion in 1971, releasing five albums and 11 Top 40 hit singles. They have sold nearly 40 million records worldwide.

Their signature sound was based on four-part male/female vocal harmonies arranged by John Phillips.

"California Dreaming'" is a song by The Mamas & the Papas, first released in 1965. The song is #89 in Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
The lyrics of the song are about a man in a cold winter landscape longing for the warmth of California.

wir haben das lied mal im chor gesunegn und heute auch noch mal in englisch gehört und anschließend hatte die ganze klasse ein ohrwurm davon. auch wenn manche jungs das lied nicht so toll fandne die mädchen insbesondere ich haben alle mitgesungen. und ich bin grade mal 13 und finde das lied echt toll
