Samsung Galaxy S microphone issue

I posted this video til illustrate the problem of the over-sensitive microphone of the Galaxy S. This is filmed inside a hockey stadium with applauding fans and music. The noise wasnt terribly loud, certainly not nearly as loud as an indoor concert or a large football stadium for example.

Samsung has to adress this problem.

@DZG I havent tried recording in loud environment after i upgraded but i doubt it. The problem is that the microphone sensitivity should be adjustable in the settings, but in order to gain access to it you still have to root the phone.

@edgc install a kernel still need a rooting right? iam totally noob on that part of skill and experience, even i upgrading both my froyo and gingebread trough Samsung Service Centre on my city..

@ditemoron you have to install a kernel that comes with voodo sound, you may find lots of information at xda developers (google it) :)

looks like we cant solve the problem without rooting or flashing the phone..

been buying the paid version of Voodoo Control Plus but it said that my kernel is not supported.. duh..
