Audley plays great but the feel and soul that emanates from Jimmy's beautiful playing is other worldly.

Among other things, the thing that distinguishes Jimmy Herring from Audley and the rest is his ability to play so far ahead of the beat. At the beginning of his solo he's playing fewer notes than Audley did in his solo, but with more energy? Its because he's anticipating the tempo instead of playing in time with it.
