out here on the barricades it was hard to cough up $40.00 for a GOF show in 1980...but i love a woman in uniform and i dream alone so i paid, saw & heard everything i ever wanted from a band. i had a cheeseburger to go from the mc donalds right next to the exxon station after the show...blinkin' and paralyzed.

My friends and I saw these guys at a place called Emarald City In Jersey just across the river from Philly. It was sometime in the 80s. After the show we found out we had a
flat tire.As we were starting to change the tire "the gang of four" came over and helped us out. We shared the beer and other substances we had left in the car. They hung out for awhile and after went on theyer merry way. Nice guys. the show was great too.

@totalstranga 100% agree...everytime I mention Gang of Four to someone, they never know what I am talking about. So many bands from the last 10 years have sounded like Gang of Four replicas.

At what time????-GOF-first recordings 1979???-oh I am so sorry!!-the first recordings were late 70s-my elder brother had a number of singles-listen to Entertainment(1980)-then judge my "pretentious" comments in that context-comments did not apply specifically to this track-otherwise leave your(pseudo)sarcasm&sanctimonious dirge for all the chavs on YouTube
