South Chicago elected officials animation

Art 1 students at B.E.S.T. High School on the Bowen campus created an animated video of the names and phone numbers of elected officials representing their area, Chicago's 7th Ward, also known as South Chicago or South City. The soundtrack includes electrically amplified thumb pianos, which the students also constructed. Matthew Steinke helped design the thumb piano lesson, and Bert Stabler was the art teacher who led the group. Students involved included Quiana White, Louis Menefee, Dejah Mitchell, Samadhi Davis, Demonica Neely, Daryl Jones, Jonai Madison, Donyell Austin, Donisha Martin, Zhane Holmes, Theresa Gibson, Montate Thomas, Philogene Joseph, Deandre Hudson, Mark Green, Anthony Strong, Anthony Walker, Stefan Nicodjevic, Shawn Bland, Davonte Williams, Lavell Childers, Kavaughn Bonner, Andre Starkes, Lemose Mosley, Terrence Wright, Dortha Sims, Paris Smith, Myriaha Glenn, Lavensky Joseph, Andromeda Thomas, Lenise McClendon, Destiny Beckham, Domisha Jackson, Shardae Stephens, Sullivan Everett, Marsalis Anthony, Londea Campbell, Jaylen Ordonez. and Sandtrice Pendleton.
