Thanks for the great video.
Sorry I am new to this but I have a Viper model 350HV. I was wondering if I could get a different Viper remote (like the Viper 7141V) and program it to my vehicle?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for video & nice web site. I just had to replace my dead 479V Viper Remote and accidently got the Viper 7701V SST one instead as a new Fob. Can I still use this "better" 7701V Fob with my older (2004) Viper Alarm & Remote Start? I have not confirmed my 2004 Viper Alarm model yet as I have not been able to identify it under my dash yet. It has been working great though, until my 479V Fob died. I have not been able to get the 7701V Fob programmed despite this video. Thanks!

Great video. I have an older 3-button DEI remote (904065) and the instructions that come with the replacement remote state to input a PIN number using the Plainview 2 valet switch. I saw that you didn't do that in your video. Is that because my alarm system is older, or is that step not needed in the alarm you were using?

@TheLessco I tried it and it's still not working...I tried both your solutions and tried EZNACHO1 but that didn't work either...oh well I guess I can take it to the shop, at least it's arming and disarming...thanks for your help.
you can only use remotes that end in 473v or p / or 474v or 473p on that model

Thanks for the compliment, The only 2 ways that work on that are the 479v, 479p and the clifford comp. That 7701 is totally different, different frequency and all unfortunately

is the door opened, and verified open with a probe or a metere at the brain 1st off? If not, Do it. Then make sure your valet switch is working properly. Then go forward

You need to program ch1 as lock, channel 2 as unlock, then 3 and 4 respectively, try that, if you still have trouble, try skipping programming ch2, Ive seen that work before as well.

Same exact way, it'll be no different for your lcd remotes, have fun
