Women's Hunt 2008 - Delta Waterfowl

Its hard to explain in words the amount excitement and energy that 15 new women hunters can exert in a weekend, especially after shooting their first duck! Its not a quick smile and move on type of moment, its an all out holler, high five, and a big hug type of moment!

September 13th and 14th weekend kicked off Delta Waterfowls 2nd Annual Womens hunt. We can confidently say that it was just as big of a hit as last years! This two-day event encompasses all aspects of hunting, from gun safety and shooting practice, decoy and calling demonstrations, landowner respect and retriever demonstrations, to harvesting a bird and enjoying a waterfowl feast for dinner!

This hunt paints a pretty clear picture that women are well suited for waterfowling, and are enthusiastic about getting involved. Lots of fun, lots of friends, a huge waterfowl feast, and amazing mentors to coach you through the experience...theres no better recipe to introduce any new women hunter to waterfowling!
