soloists are good but if they chilled with the vibrato on those longer notes then it would sound a little better

what is up with this? my choir is doing this song and this song has a nastalgic laid back feeling to it...the soloists are 1. trying too hard. 2 not feeling the love of the piece. Music is more than just reading notes on the paper.Music is nothing but an object without feeling...GET LIFTED by what you sing.

the soloists have great voices, but there's no emotion to them...they just sing the notes that are on the page. have you ever listened to billy joel's version? you need to put your whole soul into the music you sing...otherwise it'll be ruined.

yikes...My high school choir is singing this and they are so much better. This choir has very blatty sound.

The soloists at the beginning are amazing. I would never expect such a beautiful, powerful voice to come out from either of those girls. Well done!

For the "add your own flare thing", I meant soloists should do that. It sounds cooler.

That was great, but if you're going to sing music like Billy Joel, you don't wanna annunciate the words so much. And don't sing the notes on the piece of music. I mean, sing the notes, but add your own little flare to the song.
