Pyxis Prima

Once Jericho squad reach the heart of Pyxis Prima,The Firstborn needs to absorb all of their powers to break free of the chasm and gain acces to the real world, where it can avenge years of being trapped in the Pyxis. It needs to channel Jericho's powers against themselves to destroy them, and absorb their powers one by one to add them to its own, breaking the prison that has enslaved it for eons. But the Jericho squad can use the same powers to defeat the Firstborn, before it can achieve its dreams of freedom.

The ending was fine. At first I was skeptical about it, but Jericho 2 is supposed to carry on, and in addition to being a sequel, it'll explain the ending of Jericho 1, and cover what we're missing.

I always wondered if that cave was a Prehistoric location,say where the last of the Neanderthals holed out and were killed or raped by Homo Sapiens.With the firstborn being effectively the first and last of his species.Born out of a violent rape,with powers nothing could stop and a reason to be truly pissed off .Just my own weird theory.

I fear for the worse of what happened to Ross after they left the Pyxis Prima. Something to do with him no longer existing outside of Al Khali if I remember correctly. I take it that he'll lose his mind like everyone else in Purgatory or lead an "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" existence.
