  • THIS SONG IS NOT ABOUT KURT YOU ARE ALL RETARDED!!!!!!! /CHEEEEEER He said in an interview that it WASN'T about Kurt. Every song that he makes isn't about Kurt, GET OVER IT. The man is dead, sorry.

  • Exactly, I mean....why would Dave write EVERY song about Kurt. Makes no sense.

You said exactly what this song means. Thank you.

  • Wow, I thought I was listening to Dave Grohl sing not a load of whiny children misinterpreting the song....

  • All respect, but I think Kurt dying, musically was the best thing that could've happened to Dave, not emotionally, obviously.

  • This song is about two friends who have drifted apart. Calm down, everyone. Just listen.

  • @MechanizedFantasy how about you tell everyone who grew up in the 90's that man? i was there, and nirvana was something i dont ill ever see the likes of again. kurt's sheer songwriting and singing talent easily make him one of the greatest musicians ever, and his death was a tragedy.

  • @MechanizedFantasy - this is completely beside your point, but Kurt is, and always will be, infinitely better than tupac. Kurt's lyrics come from personal experience, and weren't aimed at being popular and making money. speaking from what i've read about kurt, that was the last thing he wanted. your reference to his suicide is a bit blunt, and wrong. in my opinion, he was murdered. the note he left didn't refer to suicide, but rather his plan to retire from the music industry and disappear.

  • @XxSystemofaEricxX LoL. 0/10. Your attempts at personal insult fail you, bro. I will admit that you have the 'went down' part right, at least. The best thing that could have happened to that band was 'ol Kurt riding the 12 gauge pogo stick. The Foo Fighters, in attitude, energy, synergy and all-around musicianship are easily ten times the band that Nirvana was, being fronted by that mumbling, junkie f*ckwit. You can attempt to gold-plate the guy, just like Tupac's fans. He's still not a legend.

  • @MechanizedFantasy haha dude are you like 5? he went down as one of the best singers in history for a reason

  • @XxSystemofaEricxX He wasn't very good as a singer. His range was crap, his endurance was crap, his enunciation and breath control were crap...Wait-Why is he supposedly a legend again?

  • Who cares who the song is about. It reminds me of Mr.Cobain.The song is excellent.

  • true about kurt is a legend and the song speaks of a few things not just thoughs 2, FOO FIGHTERS FOR LIFE!!!
