Little Soldier (cover of a song by Dr Noise)

Many, many, many, many thanks to Bill Martin (aka Dr Noise) for giving me permission to cover this song. He is - in my humble opinion - the best musical artist on YouTube so you should definitely go check him out and subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/user/doctornoise

I contemplated recording this "properly" and sticking a music video on it, but in the end I felt that just a live performance was the way to go. I did it one take and decided that I probably wasn't going to improve it beyond this, so here it is in all it's low-quality glory (I really do need to get a new microphone). If you're wondering why I'm looking down at the camera in a strange, hypnotised way I'm actually reading the lyrics off my laptop screen =)

If you would like to suggest a cover for me to perform by all means leave your suggestions in comments - I'm trying to settle into a routine of doing a song-a-week (ish) during the summer and I need all the suggestions I can get :D

Thanks! I actually used to hate the sound of my singing voice, but it's come around in the last 12 months. I think now that it's actually stopped breaking I can do useful things with it again ;)

Well, I have been playing for the best part of ten years, so I should have SOME form of control over it by now ;)

I only know a couple of Radiohead songs, but there's one that I love playing a lot. You may have hit the nail on the head with that suggestion...
