I don't think the poster was making light of the song, rather what he hears and INTERPRETS in english. That is the beauty of a Sigur Ros song, even if you don't understand, it means whatever you want it to mean to you, whatever chord it strikes. And yes, this is in Hopelandic and others by them are in Icelandic. Those who don't understand... a bad comarison might be scatting a song, it's really a string of sounds that just fits into the song. Skidley-didley doo-whop, didley didley do whop...

The whole "no lyrics" part of the untitled album works for a reason. The emotions come through without lyrics ruining them. It's hard to write lyrics to such painful music properly, so he didn't even try. Stuff like this is an epic fail and makes the song worse when you read along.
