@elmoloveftl I believe he said this took place in California. ALL COMMERCIAL GLASS in CA is tempered to withstand earthquakes as much as possible cheap or not. I grew up in Rodney King Los Angeles, trust me the COP was out of line. Out of line is the norm in LA.

The cop is definately over zealous, The mans drunk and could be restrained quite easily, The cops a big guy, the drunk man does put his hand out first but that is an instictive thing when your body is moving faster than your brain is expecting. wether the guy is a dick or not is a non entity. the cop is acting over the top.

Anyone who's ever actually tried to break a pane of commercial glass, or walked into a glass sliding door, knows that was a VERY cheap, unsafe window.
I'm almost certain the drunk guys hand hits the window first. . .look carefully.
Cop does need a refresher course in control holds and procedure though.
