  • The policy principle is one that will assuredly lead into difficulties. He who regards the favor of men as more desirable than the favor of God will fall under the temptation to sacrifice principle for worldly gain or recognition. Thus fidelity to God is constantly being sacrificed. Truth, God's truth, must be cherished in the soul and held in the strength of heaven, or the power of Satan will wrest it from you. (Counsels to Parents, Teachers, and Students, p.486)

  • @Baraka703 I am not offended.. I was just clarifying the assertion that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. We clearly do not. Islam denies that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Islam denies that Jesus was crucified let alone raised from the dead. Islam denies that salvation is a gift by Grace through Jesus Christ alone. The teachings of Islam have nothing to do with Christianity or with worshipping the one true God who is revealed in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • " any graven image..." To me, "do not make any" means ANY. Also, Jesus said "No one comes unto The Father but by me." To me that says that no one other than Jesus has the power to allow the forgiveness of sins. Since God and sin cannot abide together the only thing that can bring us to God (in other words, "The Father") is the covering of our sins provided by the Blood of Jesus. As I am free to think as I please, I invite you to do the same. Ignorance is not a factor here. I only speak my mind.

  • @tickmann

  • @tickmann Should we judge a nation by the acts of a small group of fools? No. Aren't the Muslims the descendants of Ishmael? Those people (Muslims) worship the God of Abraham. Jewish people claim to worship the God of Abraham as well. Presuming that is true, who is the God of Abraham? Isn't he the same God that we worship? There is no need to be rude. I meant no offense to you personally. I'm sorry if I did offend you. When I read the Bible I see "Thou shalt not make unto thee ..."

  • @Baraka703 No. We don't worship the same 'god'. Christians worship the God who raised Jesus of Nazareth from the dead. Muslims do not worship or know this God. The one and only God who has only one begotten Son who was crucified and raised for our forgiveness. Islam does not have this truth or freedom. I am no longer SDA. I am a reformed Catholic. I am Lutheran. As for your accusations of Roman Catholics...just naive. Hardly worth commenting on..

  • @tickmann Do a little more research my friend. Allah that the Muslims speak about is strikingly similar to the One true God of Heaven. Although our teachings may differ, all I find suggests we worship the same God. The God that created the heavens, the earth, the sea and all that is in them. Further, The Catholic Church seems to be the most off base according to my studies as well. Priests that can forgive sins? Praying to graven images? Pay money as an atonement? Foolishness! Check the Bible...

  • @MentorOfMinos i am a female not a male so please don't refer to me as sir and yes i agree that people r free to say wat they believe and that is exactly what i did, as i said before if anyone has a problem with ellen g white then don't waste your time watching videos like these next time look at the title before u watch and stop beig so critical.

  • @jalisa146 I disagree sir. People must be free to say what they believe is correct. We must, however, also be free to reprove sin and error.

  • i don,t need to watch anything!
