You have the feel for what is right and dont settle for anything less- your fans are there to support you no matter how long it takes. All your music puts a smile on my face and Im sure the next CD will too....Love Ya! Ann Marie
As many have said before me, do what you feel is better for the music and your art. I think (and agree with you) that live music and recorded tracks are 2 different art forms. Someone can be an amzing live singer, but it doesn't come across in the studio. And we all know there are many artist out there that are good on albums, but when they sing live it's off. I think you got a talent for both and would be happy to listen to anything you got. Can't wait to see the cuts you post for us. :)
Why not do both? On my iPod I've got two versions of Smoke, the CD version and the live one from NYC, ripped from your Myspace page (sorry). I listen to both as they feel different. You could do a "real" and a "pristine" version of each track. Easy to do in these days of digital releases. Whatever you do, the album will be fantastic. Good luck............ Steve........... PS: What does Annie think?
I think you should do what you think is right. It shouldn't ultimately be up to the fans because it's your work. It needs to be something you're proud of. I think you should put out music that you're proud of and want people to hear. If people listen, and I know I will, then that just makes it all that much better. Again, this is my opinion.
