Except that Mrs Wallace and her team made up the story and Kim was not a part of the movie. If she wanted to know what was "real", she should have ask Kim before they made the movie. You don't make up a story and turn around to ask her if that was true. I don't think she was saying Biggie was perfect. I think she is saying that she wants to ask Kim that if Biggie treated her this way.....why did you continue to associate with him.  Mrs. Wallace basically said that she wouldn't have continued to be with a man who said such things to her.

In my opinion that sounds like a legitimate question to ask Kim.
