Rex Chadwell Retirement Flight

A good friend's retirement flight for American Airlines. Captain Rex Chadwell and his wife, Susan, have been good friends for many years.
On June 22, 2010, Rex flew his retirement flight on the Boeing 777 from London Heathrow to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Rex completed his 32 year career with an excellent safety record. I was privileged to photograph the water cannon salute offered by the Chicago Airport Fire & Rescue personnel in honor of Rex's retirement. I was joined by Rex's brother, Mark, and his wife, Nita, from Nashville, TN.
