Make a tutorial how you maked it !!!!!!!!!!

Is not steam that is air compressed.-

Does anyone have any more information on the piston?
-
cia su oru.....

I know this is old but does there happen to be blue prints for this and instructions. I am doing my Senior Project (required to graduate at my school) on green energy, specifically steam power fueled by quick growing and warm burning trees, since when you burn thees they only release the same gases theyd release if they were left to rot.

o ya tony stark can build that shiny thing in his chest in a cave!!!!!,jk nice engine bro, could u show how to make the piston though?

Nice bit of kit, and created quickly too! Oscillating cylinder engines are so neat to watch run. Thanks for posting.

did you make this i 1 day? everything?

I really want plans for this! I dont even know how it works :(

Awesome job. It look amazing! ★★★★☆
Have you tried to run this on steam? If so, did boiler stand the pressure of the steam?

Yes I have tried running it on steam but for ease I ran on compressed air for the video. What you can see though is the safety vale that I made for it which keeps the pressure to a safe 20psi and it runs quite well.
Thanks

Is the piston assembly a mamod one,or one you had to make?

No it is not mamod, I just knocked one up with some scrap lying around

How did you make an airtight piston, in such a short time?

Easy if you have the right kit. Use a lathe to turn a piece of brass to the whatever external diameter you need. I then drilled it out using a drill bit in the tailstock. This is where the problems state, as a drill hole is only an approximation to a cyclinder, really you should use a poring bar or a reamer. (The cost money). After drill I just smoothed out the bore with some emery paper. The piston was cut on a lathe again. Then measure the bore and turn the piston to suit.
