Tomb Raider Guardian of Light Climb Fail

I was playing Guardian of Light going through the Toxic Swamp. I got to the part where you are crossing the stone bridge and lightning hits the pillars destroying the bridge and anything in its past. Before the pillars fell on the bridge I was hanging on the edge of the bridge trying to get to the red skull to the right. No luck, just got stuck in mid air is all. No clue how to get the skull.
