@wjmatos733 I grew up on Long Island. We were always visiting my cousins in Brooklyn. As I remember they lived on 3rd Ave. about 1 block from Prospect Hall. When they put the Prospect Expressway through it came to their block and turned to the right. Their apartment building was spared. I loved those trips to Brooklyn so much.
We used to go down to the corner and get squeezies also known as icey's. Are you familiar with those terms?

I had this on a 78 given to me by my late cousin Jerry. My favorite Moonglows song (next: Most Of All). "Let's go steady," wow!

I was 12 years old in 1956 and already dancing to this song in El Paso, TX. Thanks for the great memories. What ever happened to this type of music?

@wjmatos733 I want to be like you guys someday, unfortunately we have iPods and Xbox Live so no more oldies, but I'll teach my kids different.

@iotbs7 no place like N.Y.
We're exactly the same vintage; graduating class of '60, M.V.B. High, Queens, N.Y. I particularly love the lines; 'We go together like 2 straws in a Coke', followed by. 'Why not come over, and you'll meet my folks?'. Now, there are a couple of anachronisms for you. But it's their 'loss' ((today's teens), not ours.
