A bullrider ain't necessary a cowboy, can be part of it, dressing western does not mean sh*t. Horse racers aren't cowboys either. To me, being a cowboy is being one tough Hombre, we identify with the land we love, our freedom as well as others', the open range, our horses, few cattle, man of honor, win or lose in our dealings w/o crying, love and take care of our family, the cowboy character overcomes the wrong. By the way, a white Stetson did not make W. Bush a cowboy. Long live the real ones!

@sprint382 i agree with you 100% i am a bull rider and broncs but that doesnt make you a cowboy. There are some city bull riders that wear Wranglers and Justins to the rodeo then every other day its back to Nike and Hollister. My family has ranched in TX since the 1890's and I would take that life style over rodeo any day I love the free open feeling of ridin the range and sometimes i sleep outside just becuase.
