Fred Mandell was an academic historian, then went to corporate America, where he worked in financial services. He wanted to explore his creative side, so he took a sculpture workshop and loved it. He had his first juried show, and sold art!
He became interested in what made great art masters what they are. He studied, researched, then teamed up with Kathy Jordan to write about the creativity process. Together they developed seven creative skills that anyone can learn and apply to ANY life change. They have a book coming out in 2010 called "Becoming a Life Change Artist". This book discusses the four dimensions of navigating life change, and is based on interviews with people from all walks of life.
He also started a company called "Life Change Arts" which provides workshops for people going through transformations. He sees everyone as being creative.
