  • @Jampers83 We being the sheep of God ought not to be of one mind with wolves. Todd Friel is simply blowing the whistle on a wolf.

  • This guy is so funny, I love to watch this show

  • @cdklassen2 It's true that what he says is law, and I'm not saying there are multiple ways to heaven, because I don't believe it, but what about babies, what about people who never hear anything about Christ? And everyone is raised differently, if they are raised to hate God, are they really aware of their sins? I believe God is just, and he looks at the heart. I couldn't serve a God who wouldn't give everyone a fair shot. Some people just have crappy situations.

  • @AnEvilBag It's very tempting to think that God's love transcends all... and in a way, it does. His love is the most powerful force in the universe, able to pierce even the hardest heart. However, God can not lie... His Word is eternal. As such, He can not contradict Himself. When He says something, He is bound by it - therefore nothing is said in haste or by mistake. So when His Word says no one comes to Him except through Jesus Christ, we must take it seriously. God bless.

  • @cdklassen2 I don't know, I mean I personally believe our God to be a loving one at that. Fair and just and will put his foot down when needed. But I just think that, how can a God harshly judge someone, if they really don't know? I just think that no matter how we see it and what we believe it all boils down to that persons heart, which only God truly knows. I'm not saying there isn't a hell but if there is, I doubt many people are actually there.

  • @AnEvilBag

You're right, Jesus would be much more harsh with Mr. Bell. And there would be no sarcasm. In Rob Bell's promo vid for Love Wins he says, I quote"...so what gets subtly sort of caught and taught is that Jesus rescues you from God. But what kind of God is that that we would need rescuing from this God? How could that God ever be good? How could that God ever be trusted? And how could that ever be good news?" Todd Friel, in his sarcastic way, is acting out of love. God bless you.

  • I don't know if Rob is false or not. But what I do know, the way "Wretched" represents this case is horrible and embarrassing. How do you go you are wrong wrong wrong, this is what God wants, and yet not even follow one of the basic truths Jesus asks from us? To follow him and mimic his life. I'm more then 100% sure that Jesus wouldn't treat the situation in such a manner. But break the devils grip with love and reasoning.

  • @maxxxman64

So he gives the impression in many, many vague words. I advise you, there's a HUGE underlying reason that he doesn't come out and publicly say what Christians have in the past 2000 years, what Jesus said, and what the apostles taught. :)

You have a nice day, too.

    Matt 7:15; 2 Thess. 2:15; 2 Tim. 4:3

  • @Virikel First thanks for trying to answer my questions. At 3.38 Mr Bell quotes what others have said in the past, he doesn't say that is his position. Secondly you're indeed correct, he does not say he doesn't believe in Hell. Apart from the slippery slope we are treading when we start criticising people now for what they DONT say, I would suggest you read his book Love Wins, wherein he specifically states that he does believe Hell exists & he backs up his beliefs scripturally. Have a nice day!

  • @CalamityStriker "Sovereign free will" -- Jeremiah 13:23; Matt. 7:18; John 6:37,44,63-65; John 12:39-40; Romans 8:7; 1 Cor. 2:14. God must do a supernatural work for us to believe, because the Bible makes it clear that all we are free to do is sin unless we have been born again. This is why God says there's not even one righteous person (Romans 3:10-12). Jesus is a Savior is because He actually saves (1 Pet. 2:9; Rom. 6:13; Rom. 9:14-18), not just makes salvation possible. So He gets all glory.

  • @maxxxman64 As for the quote you were asking about: 3:38. As for saying he doesn't believe in hell: like typical heretics throughout history, he doesn't come out and say it. This is why Jesus said to watch out for wolves who look just like sheep. However, as we see how Christians have responded to the idea of hell throughout church history, we see that they respond as boldly as Jesus did (who talked twice as much about hell as He did about heaven) -- it is real, and it is as eternal as God is.
