A Super Compilation of all the musical themes and motifs written by Michael Giacchino in association with the characters of Danielle and Alex Rousseau from the television series - LOST. All variations appear on the television soundtracks under the following track titles:-

Tracks used - Alex In Chains, Recon, Here Today Gone to Maui, Claire's Escape.

First introduced way back in Season 1, Danielle Rousseau, having spent 16 years alone on the island, appeared to be a deluded woman, driven mad by whispers and noises in the jungle. Her frantic and unpredictable behaviour was matched by Giacchino's initial theme for her which also served to shroud her in an air of mystery and suspense. However, as we began to learn more of her backstory and the loss of her daughter Alex, Giacchino created her an emotional theme which later also began to be used during scenes involving Alex as well as Danielle. In addition, a suspenseful variation on this theme was used more frequently in particularly tense scenes or action sequences involving the Rousseaus. Heard most dramatically when Danielle and Karl were killed, it served to highlight the impending doom for Alex as well.
