Metallica were brilliant but Machine Head were poor! The lead singer was entertaining but the sound quality wasn't great. I loved the Seek and Destroy encore.

I think they will have their work cut out getting a better atmosphere than that at Sonisphere xD So glad my brother got me the ticket haha

lol we were in block 102, and my mate was as well about 9 rows behind us and yesterday we were saying how hot they were and then we realised heat rises hahaha so you must have got it hotter than hell up there!

block 221, was high up but had great view.
them bloody flames were soo hot lol.

they were fantastic but machine head's sound quality was really crappy........i could'nt hear phil demmel ripping it up on his famous Jackson Demmilition King V.....
Metallica were amazingly fantastic though - and the sound quality was aswell!!!! i thought sword were good aswell - they reminded me of young metallica!!

From where we were sat, before their set, it looked like Machine Heads guitar tech was having difficulties with the wireless gear, like it wasn't picking up at certain parts of the stage. The stage layout was brilliant though, love how it gives a chance for everyone to be near(ish) to the stage rather than having it at one end. If anyones seen my Linkin Park video you can see how distant from the stage I was then when if they would have had a centre stage I would have been next to it! xD

was mad seeing 'one' played 4/5 songs in! works better as a finale.

True, they were missing some of my favourites too, but the gig was that good they didn't need to play them. It was fantastic!
