Correct. They claim these objects are similar to carrying pictures of your family, showing your affection to them; the problem is.. they do not even know how they look like. What would that make these objects? They also disregard the fact that Jesus never even once called her(Mary) as his mother. Although we should respect her like all the loyal disciples of Jesus, it is wrong to pray to her and revere to her as someone of equal standing to Him, who created all(and her).
