@torylva Actually, if you did your research, you would find Falconer wrote the song about indulgences, a medivial Catholic practice that ended with the christian revolution. So basically he is singing about indulgences and that fact that they were wrong, and about the greedy corruption of the Catholics.

Im atheist and this song is Great! I dont see why people have a problem with it. Like InfamousGrey said their a band about myths and lore and the like.
-
@torylva if ur gonna talk of anti-religion u should mention their song delusion
-
The song Portals of Light is about grieving for a loved one as they make their way to Heaven... so... I'd just say it's a band that does songs that they enjoy to sing or have meaning based on legend/lore/religion/fantasy. Who cares? It's good.
-
@InfamousGrey Who's he kidding? Falconer is against religion. At least organized religion anyway. Including Christianity.
-
for all of you who wonder, this song is based on the book/movie named "the name of the rose"
it is a murder mystery
-
@goreaphiliac i wouldnt say they are, mostly since they wrote a anti-religion song...
Enter the Glade.

@cybermunkey13 Totally agreed. If there is a god, I hope he sounds just like this. XD
-
@InfamousGrey Agreed. Lord of the Blacksmiths deals with Waylan the Smith, a mythical figure of early English lore.
-
this man has the voice of a god.
@goreaphiliac
I'm not so sure they're "Christian" or a "Christian band." They seem to be much more concerned with legend, lore, and fantasy -- which includes Christian myths -- but not exclusively.

All the songs from this album are simply awesome. Somehow this remains my fav Falconer album though it does'nt mean the other later albums are not good......my only wish is that the band comes out with some great videos...cheers to all
