there's this live version of achilles on youtube that buck does with scratch bastad and it is actually better flow than the album version imho, but of course I listened to the lve version first. It's really good.

@FiReFire1 The song is called Achilles and The Tortoise. The track is like 7 minutes long. The first few minutes is Buck speaking over a calm beat and then it goes into the song you're talking about.

Wasn't that "Secret Splendor" because I looked up the lyrics and it mentions "A little while later I awoke to a rumbling/And opened my eyes to see a scene so humbling..." so yeah. That one has a very mellow beat and everything. I think that's it.

dude... there's a song I heard in a skate video years ago I've always wanted to know the name of. I think it might be a Buck 65 song from this album. is there a track with a line like... "later I awoke in agony and learned/that while I was sleeping the city had burned" ??
