@wwwportugal i will liked you to win :P greetings from catalonia.

For me, the big problem with 1969 is that I can't stand two of the four winners - the British song was trite and the Dutch one dreary (in my opinion). Spain, for me, was OK, but not a winner. Thank goodness for France, ensuring at least one great song took the top honours. But for me, even the French song pales in comparison with the simply towering Italian entry, whose poor result was nothing short of scandalous. Elsewhere, fun songs from Sweden, Switzerland and Ireland kept the standard up.

Surely a clip about this contest should focus on the voting? otherwise its a waste of space and time... a clip created by somebody who clearly doesn't understand Eurovision.

Whatever you say in sincerity pleases me. Anyone who appreciates Frida Boccara & Un Jour Un Enfant - the most amazing song I've ever heard - well, I'm happy to share the that experience. I hope you're enjoying a lovely festive season & that 2009 will be a great year & looking forward to more 'musings'.

My taste has changed in these... 10 months, was it? Were I voting again now, it would look more like this: 1-Spain (ok song, great performance) 2-Italy 3-Sweden 4-Norway 5-UK 6-Finland 7-Monaco 8-Switzerland 10-Germany And France, 12 points - I now find it absolutely amazing Hope that makes you happy.

Dearest T, all I can say is commisertions after the onslaught here. I fear that some on the neighbouring island have taken to the Chistmas sherry a little too soon! (LOL!) IMO Due Grosse Lacrime Bianche ranks with Non Ho L'Eta & Al Di Las as the 3 best Italian songs of the 60s & their amongst their best ever. And yest it was unfortunate that such a good song met Un Jour Un Enfant & De Troubadour amongst others
Ah, yes, your was also a totally left-field vote - but I won't critisize it because I too LOVE the Portuguese entry, so you get a pass from me :-D

Someone marked it as spam. (embittered because their choice didn't win, perhaps?)
