Associate Professor Simon Woods, Executive Director Medical Services at Cabrini Health in Melbourne, talks about the need for mobile access to clinical information and how Cabrini Health partnered with iSOFT to introduce the iSOFT Mobility Suite to provide access to radiology, biochemistry and haematology investigations via iPads.

Since go-live in early May 2011, the response from doctors has been enthusiastic. The hospital has not supplied iPads, instead clinicians must supply their own iPads and request access to the system.

Located in near Melbourne, Cabrini Health is one of the leading private hospital groups in Australia.
