I agree with you about it being a rush that some women get,but eh it's their business and like you said, if they can financially, morally, physically,etc support these children...more power to them. I DO wonder though if these type parents will be as stoked that they've had so many kids when they become teens. O.O lol

All those situations you listed were different- religious reasons, desire and financial ability to have children (including adopted), etc. In short, I think its pretty stupid and insulting to imply that women are addicted to pregnancy because they want four instead of two kids, just because the resent social trend has been to have only two. I think it is ridiculous and just another form of sexism. I love that you see the fallacy in this, and continue to respect women's reproductive choices.

I'm with you. Plus, a little added doubt that women are getting pregnant because they are addicted to the hormone rush. Maybe there are a very small amount of women for which this is true, but its certainly not widespread or common. I think most women take the planning of their families pretty seriously. Not to mention the fact that the "hormone rush" can also be very negative and there are a whole slew of pregnancy symptoms that are or can be hell. Then there's labor and recovery...
