This is a video of an 11 year old Aussie Girl who has Ataxic cerebral palsy, can't speak and has primary Torsion Dystonia. She has to wear an ice vest to be able to play, but nothing stops her each week joining her Rookie Ball team for their game. It just shows you, that no matter the adversity, we can all still live life to the full. She just tries to be the best she can be.

  • Our Daughter has just been diagnosed with Ataxic Cp and we are trying to find other parents or people with it. This little girl is amazing and gives us real hope when we dont know what the future holds :o)

  • When Brooke was first diagnosed I too wondered what the future would hold, but I have seen kids with Ataxia run marathons, play tennis and do everything that is possible. Their world is boundless and it is a journey I enjoy walking with Brooke. It is hard work but they can be anyone they want to be with support and love. This video is our testament to that. All the best for the future, my thoughts are with you.

  • She was 2 before she stood up independently & walked Until then we would have to hold her or she would fall down again Even then we still had lots of balance problems & she would always be falling over. That is still an issue now as you can see with the video. The other problem we had was that she had no awareness that she was going to fall so never put her hands out to protect herself. We had to teach her how to fall & protect herself. We attended an amazing Intervention program that helped

  • Born on June of 1993. I was diagnosed on May of 1994. I was diagnosed with Hemipelgia Cerebral Palsy & Russell Silver Syndrome. I am only 4'8 tall. I been doing ballet for 11 yrs now.

    I want to thanks to Omaha Public School for letting me go to school there. And I want to thanks to Madonna School Serving Special Needs Kids. I been going there for 3 yrs now. And last thanks I want is Jewish Community Center. I am not Jewish but I am catholic.

    Thank you!! you are the first contact we have had with another parent.How Old was Brooke when she walked? Our daughter is 20months and can crawl but doesn't have the strength to stand with out support.
