  • @EvenHaShetiya1000 please don't take my comments too seriously, they are almost always an attempt at humor, albeit a poor one. The majority of the people watching the video understands that the chicken is flapping around in pain.

  • The way a person treats animals is the way he thinks of his fellow man. Complete indifference.

  • @EvenHaShetiya1000 Shame? Is Ovadiah Yosef shameful? Because he is Sephardi? Kaparos has been a controversial topic in Judaism. I presume that you are aware of this before supporting this tradition.

  • @Yoshuayovel Not one of your comments is based on anything true and substantial. Aren't you the least bit embarrassed to talk about things that you understand nothing about? Provide valid sources to back up your comment, or save yourself the shame and stop posting.

  • @elnino559 And your opinion is based on what? If you want to make statements on youtube you would be wise to at least google a topic before posting a comment that is unfounded and ignorant. Insensibility and death of a bird has nothing to do with leg and wing movement after unconsciouness(which indicates only nerve reflex) Once the proper cut is made, which is painless when done by this method....the animal loses consciousness within a few seconds.

  • @shaffier No I didn't. Some word is spelt b4 kaparos like this: "This is my exchange, this is my substitute, this is my atonement, while I will enter and proceed to a good long life and to peace"

Melekh is no different from Molokh, if someone pray to Schnersson and offer their children's hair to him(to summit to him.). He's a Yank. At least Jesus is Bethlehemite. They are not far from Christians, except they're not referring him god directly.

  • @Yoshuayovel No such ritual exist, nor is there such a thing as the "molokh of chabad". you are very mis-informed. Moloch means angel, chabad is a chasidic sect. no relation. Kapporos is a very jewish ritual, and is not an "offering to our sin". It's done to arouse repentance for our sins, and to perform one last act of charity before Yom Kippur. You should seek out your information from original jewish sources if you want to be informed. Good luck friend.

  • Kaporos isnt a sacrifice. The chickens are slaughtered and given to charity, usually to be eaten on the holiday of Succot which comes 4 days after Yom Kippur. The ritual of kapporos is done before yom kippur in order to give us an image of what death is really like, before we are judged for the upcoming year. It's the last "boost" to arouse repentance. The main aspect is the charity. Some people have the custom of performing the ritual on money, which is given to charity afterwards.

  • Ok, just so I get this right...As long as the sacrifice is for consumption it's not pagan. From what I understand, consumption after the sacrifice is in the Torah.

    Right?

  • @Pepsifx357 Definitely pagan. No one told you to slaughter a chicken on erev yom kippur as any form of offering. Don't tell me they're slaughtering them for food on Yom Kippur.

I'm not debating with you on issue of human sacrifice. Anyway, it's a solid fact that not a Jewish source teaches them to sacrifice chicken on street.

According to Christian's interpretation, Messiah has to be cut off. This is quoted from Jewish source and you cannot doubt this.
