Wildfire Destroys Most Homes in Colo. History

A wildfire that has scorched about 85 square miles in northern Colorado has destroyed at least 181 homes, the most in state history, officials said Saturday. (June 16)

Of course it is! Each new big fire will be "the most destructive" because more and more people are moving into the area (more houses). This same exact fire a few decades ago would have destroyed a fraction of the houses (while burning the same square miles). The media loves to dramatize everything.
