I've got lots to learn about throwing shuriken. First: I need to buy real shuriken. I can modify existing material that can come close. But, real is better. Next, I have to pay more close attention to form. Power isn't necessarily the key. In fact, I had better luck when I didn't try so hard. Breath control and relaxation makes for good accuracy. Fine tuning the shuriken for balance is an art in itself and I'm going to have to spend a lot of time adding weight and shaping the "handle" in order to control the parabolic motion of the flight path.

  • that is not shurikens, shuriken is ninja star

  • @mineralin641 Sorry, but you're wrong. The star-shaped throwing blades are called "shaken" (pronounced: 'shaw-ken'). Search YouTube for other videos with "bo-shuriken" as a keyword. You'll find plenty of straight, dart-like weapons such as the ones I'm using.

  • i like how humble you are in your videos and you are not far off from being a natural shuriken thrower. this is just my opinion as an amateur american thrower and by my standards

  • @castout47 Thanks so much for your kind words. I do my best to learn by starting all my endeavors from the bottom and work my way up. I could easily spend the rest of my life developing basic techniques.

  • @erniesbudolab well, Maybe in the price range of $5-$9.

  • @pokemon940 i learned that if you "borrow" those metal H's that signs are stuck on, you can make 6-10 spikes of one, depending on length. there easy to sharpen and if you bend it it straightens out easily. plus that ridges on them give some friction.

  • good effort dude keep practicing

  • @pokemon940 Define cheap? If you don't have a large budget, make your own expendable ones. Remember, though: You get what you pay for. Cheap shuriken usually don't hit their targets well or at all.

  • @erniesbudolab hey umm where could i buy shuriken rlly cheap?
