I've watched both films, i'll tell you the second one is considerably better and remains true to the original plot, they have the fight scene the hatchet has been replaced with a more realistic one and they even managed to replicate the Hinamizawa syndrome to what it would be if it was real.

Imo a Low Budget, movie like this one (looks Extremely low Budget), Dosnt Serve the Series justice, i love the Story, Probs my favorate Anime aswell, But the only way a live adaptation of the Series would work, was if there was a good budget behind it, and generally in todays world, that would require going to a Western Producer and making it more Western, Which dosnt do the Seriese jsutice either

They Should Just stick to the anime, Or Make a Modern day Game of it, and try and Publisise more.

the first adaptation was a disaster most of the time. i know they had low budget but..*sigh*...

is this really better? (picture, camera, obviously actors are the same, so hope it's director's fault)

for such a great anime someone must get it right already!

I laughed at this...i probably shouldn't have but i did...what made them want to do a live action higurashi?

Oh well, as a devote fan I suppose I should have heard of it earlier, and now I am required to watch it. I can only hope it's half as good as the anime.

Cara ersonagens nada a ver, aposta que esse filme é todo censurado, furude e a guria tem 8 ou 12 anos mais ou menos, mas no filme parece tudo maior de idade.
