While waiting to catch at Bunch, I made this Video of A Railroad Worker, (Signal Maintainer), performing his duties of checking the crossing gates.

Don't know why prople have 2 run through the crossing's when they know the gates are down...

Can this man not just quickly call the switch tower?

That reminds of my first job with Santa Fe i use to be a gateman all i did was watch for trains and let the gates down i work out of a 8x8 shed along with a fella on the other side of the crossing.

@tartopfan A 1941 Chevrolet crashing thru the gate, I jumped in the ditch the tore up the shed and getting torn up by a 3700 class Baldwin Steamer. ATSF put up a Wig Wag Signal 2 days later and I didn't have to do that anymore.
