whenever i listen to into the woods, i use the OBC recording, except for this song. OMG. so pretty.

I would give anything in the world to have been red riding hood for this production and sit next to Laura Benanti every night and sing this song. ANYTHING.

@GuardianofHyrule oh i know right!!! laura is beautiful, but seriously just watching the tony's while they performed the opening it basically was an embarrassment! for one the costumes sucked eggs!! they were absolutely probably the worst costuming ever done on a stellar show like that and 2 they didn't stay true to true musical theatre which is what you do with this show!!! i was very disappointed because this is absolutely my fav show!! but this song is beyond beautiful!

Yeah, they definitely changed the harmonies in the end. Probably just for the talk show in order to make the song stand on it's own out of context.

Is it just me or is this a but higher? I have the cast album to the original cast and the last not is DEFINITELY higher here. Or it could just be that my ears are still clogged.
