After about 1,000 failed takeover attempts, I'd stop worrying about Bowser, too.

On another note, (and possibly, semi-spoilers), I find myself wondering if Cackletta was ever intended to be in the game. I mean, it just seems to me that since the last place you fight her is inside bowser in the first game, you'd at least see a reference to her in this game.
