Entelechy - Marimba Solo

Entelechy - A realization or actuality as opposed to a potentiality.

Entelechy is a fairly simple 4-mallet solo to play, technically. The intent of this solo is to allow the performer to take liberties with the suggested tempo and dynamic markings to give the solo shape throughout. This solo is most definitely not meant to be played at a metronome-perfect tempo, and variations in the tempo are entirely at the discretion of the performer.

The recording is computer-generated using Finale 2008, so it was pretty tough to get something that sounded entirely natural. One of these days I will get a real-life marimba! Anyways, I hope you enjoy Entelechy; thanks for listening!
