All i`ve heard is that when you are outside of the body "someone" could get into the body...You know what i mean? you have to find a way to really protect yourself.

Anyway that´s what i`ve heard. I don`t know if that`s true or not.

I have not tried to do anything like that because I have no one to guide me and I dont know what could happen. I dont know what kind of training or protection I would need.

In the Vedic texts it says that a Siddhi or avatar is unable to enter / occupy a body, unless the the entity that inhabited that body has completely vacated it. It has to be a corpse before an avatar or master can enter / occupy a body that that is now available. There is a famous story about an avatar who wanted to experience marriage and sexual love by entering the body of a deceased raja. The avatar who was saintly was able to experience married life through another s body.

I wish I could give you some help or advice.

Astral Projection is really a spiritual concept.

Maybe societies with a long and continuous history of spiritual concepts could be a source of information for you.

I think that Indian Gurus, and China's priests can reveal the wisdom of the ages.

Everything that Americans learn, is not new, but is that which has been forgotten.

Also, purity of heart helps, because the Great Spirit is pure.

Yes, The Great Spirit is Pure. Carlos Castenada wrote about astral projection as well as shape shifting. May Shamans can astrally project. Native Americans do some Astral work in the sweat lodges and during their peyote ceremonies.I think the Toltec astrally project as well. I remember something from Don Miguel Ruiz about this. Some go to mexico to learn this.

Hey mate how are ya I've been astral travelling now for a while I'm scared to go to sleep I've been up for 2 days coz I'm so scared to go to sleep I've tried pills to knock me out but it's like they send me even deeper into it I've tried grousing meditations I've tried everything could u please help me turn this off i see no difference between realities and some places I go I wake up screaming could some one please please help me turn this off thank u love bless u all always in all ways

You project in your sleep when u dream most times your in the emotional astral plane when u become more aware you'll find your self in the higher planes mental causal etc. Study the spiritual planes and subtle bodies. Namaste.

its been a learning experience however. The first time it happened (at 18) there was a kind of very apparent nodal switch to 'on' in the brain, manifested by wanting or willing it to happen. That opened the flood gates to a form of organic virtual reality (I've never taken drugs). Then the ghosts started to make themselves known, followed by the astral wildlife (lower entity forms that appear when you sleep/go under for too long). It's a fascinating scientific experience in the fluidic astral.

its nice to hear someone really clued up,as over the years of astrally projecting,it sad to see so many disconnected from our spiritual capabilities. A note on protection. Apart from one personal "obsessive ghost" attack in Hungary and one 10 sec possession in Japan, I think you don't really need to think about it. Fear and a sick body are probably the biggest weaknesses, but a confident fearless mindset & a healthy physical body seem enough. But I think ritualistic occult acts are detrimental.
