@shadow444222 Hmm... Maybe you puted too much of that paste on that cpu and thermal paste is bad quality. I think the best way to remove the cpu is to push it to the side of the heatsink. If thermal paste is like glue try to use a screwdriver... BUT BE CAREFUL WITH screwdriver, beacause you can brake that cpu. Try to lift cu from heatsing on each side... Keep me updated how did you do it and if that did work! xD

hey i got my cpu stuck to my heatsink by putting on to much past do u know of a way to get it off without breaking the damn thin cause this is the second time i did this and its a realy good cpu this time

u can run windows 7 with it? i see u have an 2400+ xp proc my old computer has 2500+ xp and when i try install windows 7 on it it says error code 5 it has an old asrock mb i think the mb is my problem

@superlaur100 On that computer windows 7 ulitmate was running perfect when computer was started up. it was pritty slow when it was starting up. I had 2gb ram inside and 160gb hard drive. Error code 5 hmm.. try with a different ram, hard drive or try other windows 7. make shure you installed 32bit windows!

it stuck to the point that a screwdriver cannot get under it and i also have found some other method that i will try shorty
