for the case at 5:35 you could just do U' (R' F R F')x2 the u turn to change the positioning from how u postitioned it

@VideoRater7 not exactly. with an L move the center of the U/B/F/D side stays the same. With an Lw, U->F, F->D, D->B, B->U
