Even if he's not real, I really admire Xanatos. He's polite, charming, erudite, sophisticated, intelligent, pragmatic and (for a villain) honorable. He also knows exactly how to turn his defeats into success.
Another thing is that he doesn't just punish his underlings if they fail. That's a rare trait for bad guys.

@Galactatech He's too smart to run for President, and he'd have to give up too much power. He likes where he is.

Jonathan Frakes!

@Kersey475 @Kersey475 Well, Demona did outsmart Xanatos once. While I think Xanatos is the smarter of the two (more practical, less prone to passionate mistakes), I think she could provide an intellectual challenge.
Hmm... anyone else? Maybe Maleficent.

True, but are there any other Disney villains who could provide a intellectual challenge to Xanatos?
I still can't believe that kid-friendly DISNEY of all places came up with the magnificent bastard known as David Xanatos (then again, they also came up with that monster Judge Claude Frollo in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame")

@Kersey475 Thailog.

I wonder which Disney villains (TV or film) can provide the worthiest challenges to David Xanatos in a battle of wits?
(I didn't ask for who could BEAT Xanatos in a battle of wits because we all know that's impossible)

@qwertyuiop298 Um, there have been badass, well rounded characters since 2005. Seen Spectacular Spider-Man?
Mix Tony Stark's bravado and cockiness with Lex Luthor's ruthlessness and underhanded business savoy along with Bruce Wayne's cunning and strategic mind together and you get David Xanatos
