Here I am noodling around with my first single-rotor RC heli, a Blade 120 SR, from a stool beside the lathe :) The camera is on the computer desk and the heli is out of trim, so forgive the wandering and botched landing attempts.
I have an mCP X and EXI 450 now, so I don't fly this one anymore because the control response is really mushy, even on the long swashplate balls. The 'bounce-back' effect from the 45 degree flybar is a bit annoying too and control is generally limited. It's fine for an intro to single-rotor helis, but I have a spare mCP X flybarless control board kicking around, so I'm converting my 120 SR to flybarless, full collective pitch control, and even a brushless main motor when all the bits & pieces I ordered finally show up!
