This time I shot in Hv30's 60i shutter priority 1/60, locked exposure, and rendered in "24p."
I tried to get rid of the ghosting problem I was having before. This time, I had a focusing issue in 1 shot in the beginning where's the character is running towards the camera, (which makes it apparent with the zoom..so oops.. my mistake). I will keep doing tests, and hopefully progress can be seen.

There is no specific order to the shots, some kind of flow together, but mostly are just test shots

  • Idk if you look at the last sentence under the description for the jag35e it says something about buying a power converter. I think I will get either the same lense as you or a 1.8. Is it hard to shoot upside down?

  • I built a rig, that lets me mount the camera upside down and see my screen through a set of mirrors.. but sometimes it can be difficult if you don't mirror it at least vertically. I shot my first short film last weekend, and should post up the video soon.

  • Cool video. I just purchased the JAG35E for my HV20 and I was wondering if you had to buy some sort of power converter? Also what type of lense are you using?

  • A power converter for what purpose? I just used a hv30 with the Jag35E and a canon FD f1/.4 50mm prime lens, I'm thinking of getting a Nikon lens, since I heard those work better. What type of lens are you going to use?
